Snow? KY says who needs snow...or power...or drivable roads...
So remember a few posts ago when I said that we were famous for our ice storms? Well, we got one today...tomorrow is supposed to be worse...Still have power which is out of the ordinary.
The second one is of the trash can stuck to the sidewalk.
Warm and cozy inside...for now atleast.

I spy with my little eye...
So the last one is just to show the cool features that come with this V-Tech camera. Here we are 3 weeks out and I still highly highly recommend this camera for all of the 3 year olds out there. Lily loves this thing. I just loaded almost 500 pictures to the computer.

Laugh out loud
Most of my friends who read this know that I just stopped bf'ing around July of 2008. Yes, we went a lot longer than many, not as long as some, but just the right amount of time for us. Anyway, funny story...
Lily still tells "chi chi" good night and knows she got mama's milk and all that jazz. Not sure when she will forget that part actually. Anyway, this was our conversation the other night:
L: Oh no, I forgot to tell chi chi good night, mama.
Me: I pull my shirt down a little so she can see some skin. (this usually is sufficient for the good night ritual)
L: No, mama! I need to see her nose!
I almost peed my pants.

The viewpoint of a three year old...
Over the next few posts I am going to share some of the pictures Lily has taken with her new camera from Santa Claus. This is one of the coolest "toys" I have ever seen.

Happy New Year!
Wow, 2009 is here. Wow. We had a great Christmas. I am excited for what is to come in 2009. My life is in a good place right now. Here are some pics of our holidays.
Yep, this is the biggest snow we have gotten in years and probably the biggest for a while...Ice is our most popular weather torture. You pacific northwesterners, don't be jealous of all of our snow...
Poor Lily begged and begged to go out and play in it. Nothing like we got when I lived in CO, that is for sure. While we don't get much snow, it gets very cold...well, 25F is very cold when you live in KY, so humor me a little please...
Christmas...Ferb and the V-Tech Camera were by far the favorite gifts. The Jonas Brothers cd was a very close third...yes, she knows almost every word and oooo and aaaa to every song.
Her exact words when she opened Phineas..."but I really wanted Ferb too, mama."
And ringing in the New Year...
